The market in facilities consultancy prior to
Landmark FMC was dominated by two extremes. At one end of the market there were
major facilities management contractors with a profound knowledge of facilities.
However the independence of their advice often caused concerns with potential
clients.
At the other extreme there were large management consultancies
that consult across a very broad range of business issues. Due to their skills
having traditionally focussed on core business, their advice often did not take
into account the practical constraints of operating a complicated facilities service.
To
fill the void of good, practical, independent advice to both the supplier and
occupier Landmark FMC was established in 1997.
