Increasingly Pan - European client organisations are debating whether there are any significant benefits of procuring European FM from a single provider. Our experience of a number of European clients is that this decision depends very much on the competence of the FM Supplier market where the client's portfolio is located and the scale of the FM to be outsourced.
Landmark FMC have acted for a number of client organisations and recently were asked to evaluate the pan European TFM supplier market.
Our approach was to develop a model of a "Best in Class" European Contractor and to compare with actual contractors who have stated a competence and experience in a number of European countries including the UK. The main features of this "Best in Class Contractor" included:
| • | High FM Turnover across the European countries |
| • | Good network of Office Locations |
| • | Competent FM Personnel including marketing and operational expertise in each country |
| • | Demonstrable European Experience with Pan European contracts |
| • | Operating Procedures that have been developed to manage pan-European accounts |
